Abstract
Objective To establish the quantitative evaluation standards for sympathetic cervical spondylosis and to analyze the effect of sacral injection on sympathetic cervical spondylosis. Methods A total of 107 inpatients with sympathetic cervical spondylosis were included in this study. These patients had a poor response to massage, traction, drug fomentation, and IF pulse.Of the 107 patients,25 with intraspinal etiology received sacral injection. Results At the time when the 25 patients were discharged, cervical spondylosis was completely healed in 9,well healed in 14,and partially healed in 2,respectively.The total effective rate was 92%.The patients were followed up for 6-18 months, showing the cervical spondylosis was completely healed in 4,well healed in 14,partially healed in 4,and poorly healed in 3,respectively,The total effective rate was 72%. Conclusion The quantitative evaluation standards for sympathetic cervical spondylosis we established are scientific. The curative effect of sacral injection on sympathetic cervical spondylosis is rather good.Caudal injection has an important clinical value for the treatment of sympathetic cervical spondylosis.
