Effect of radiofrequency hyperthermia with bladder instilation of medicine on bladder carcinoma （Experement: and clinical studies）

This paper comsists of two parts: （1）the influence of heating with mytomycin or cis-latin on cell grouth curves, mitosis and the rotio of cellar death. Results of the experement howed that heating to 41℃ with antitumor medicine was more inhibitory than heating to 41℃ or 3℃ on cell growth or division. There was no difference between mytomycin and cis-platin. （2）he treatment results in 28 cases of bladder carcinoma treated with shortwave together with ladder instilation of antitumoragents. As the result of the treatment, complete remission in 1, and marked remissionin 1 2. more than marked improvement in 23 （82.14％）were found. Follow-p was done on 6 cases showed complete remission for 1—2.5years, with normal cystoscope indings. Sideeffect has not been found.The best time for shortwave radiation, the interval of xposures, the means of temperature measurement and the follow-up period will be further bserved.
