Effect of safflower injection on proliferation of human cervical cancer cells Hela

Objective:To explore the effect of safflower injection on proliferation of human cervical cancer cells Hela.Methods:MTT assay was used to determine the human cervical cancer cells growth and inhibitory rates with various concentration of safflower injection,and the change of cells' shape was observed with upside-down microscope.Results:The higher concentration of Safflower injection to Hela,the higher inhibition effect there was.The inhibitory effect was observed stronger with time.Morphological observation showed cell apoptosis.Conclusions:Safflower injection has stronger inhibitory effect on growth of tumor cells Hela.
