Treatment of purulent knee arthritis and diabetes patients with debridement under arthroscopy and continuous lavage

Objective To explore the treatment of purulent knee arthritis and diabetes patients with debridement under arthroscopy and continuous lavage. Methods 43 patients with purulent knee arthritis and diabetes were treated with debridement under arthroscopy and continuous lavage after operation. Results All the patients were cured without relapse,with 31 cases excellent,8 cases good,and 4 cases fair.The"excellent"and"good"rate is 90.7%. Conclusion Debridement under arthroscopy and continuous lavage has a good therapeutic effect on purulent knee arthritis and diabetes patients.It is an ideal therapeutic method leading to satisfactory recovery and patients can do early function exercises postoperatively.
