Studies on YRRM gene in azoospermia and severe oligospermia

Objective: Study the relationship between the AZF gene and azoospermia. Methods: Using the PCR method, we analyzed YRRM gene （the candidates gene for AZF, Azoospermia Factor） from 74 Chinese men with either azoospermia or severe oligospermia. The SRY gene was used for internal control. Results: 4 of 74 men have no amplification band in the YRRM gene. Conclusion: It suggested that these case with abnormal YRRM gene may be result in the male infertility.
