Characterization of monoclonal antibody against DCXR and its application

Objective: To characterize the monoclonal antibody,mAb,against dicarbonyl/L-xylulose reductase（DCXR）for its application. Methods: DCXRmAb was detected by immunofluorescence staining. MAb was used to isolate DCXR by immunoprecipitation. Results: DCXRmAb was localized in mitochondria of liver and could deplete DCXR from total lysate in mitochondria by immunoprecipitation. Conclusion: Specific mAb against DCXR can be used as a powerful tool in investigation of DCXR functions and distribution.
