Vocal nodules,vocal polyps and polypoid cord lesions are the common diseases causing hoar-seness.46 cases with these lesions were treated by surgery,using laryngoscopic Nd3+ YAG laser.The results of treatment are satisfactory （40 cases cure,6 cases improved）.This method is conv-enient,safe,reliable and nearly painless.No complications have occurred in this series.It is stu-itable,therefore,for the treatment of above-described diseases.
