Effect of nursing intervention on mental health and life quality of patients with breast cancer

Abstract
Objective To study the effect of nursing intervention on mental health and life quantity of patients with breast cancer. Methods A total of 89 cases of breast cancer after operation were selected,and divided into control group(n=41) and intervention group(n=48). Patients in control group received normal nursing,such as general mental support,guidance for diet and function training of tongue and limbs. Patients in intervention group accepted systemic nursing intervention besides normal nursing. Mental health condition and life quantity of the patients were detected by SCL 90 and QLQ C30,respectively. Results Factors,such as total score,average score,number of positive kinds,somatization,compulsion depression anxiety,opposition,horror,paranoia,were lower in intervention group than in control group(P<0.05). Life quantity of the patients after intervention had a statistical difference(P<0.01). Conclusion Systemic nursing intervention can improve the mental health and life quantity of patients with breast cancer.
