Effect of nutritional therapy on diarrhea diseases and malnutrition in infants

Objective: To observe the effect of nutritional therapy on diarrhea diseases and malnutrition in infants．Methods: The nutrioushed for mula mainly containing baked rice powder (Nutrioushed milk for diarrhea diseases: patent No.941021564) was used to treat 372 cases of the infantile diarrhea diseases．Results: The recovery time of clinical symptoms in the observed group were shorter than the controls group，P＜0.01.In the nutritional iterms the infantile weight of observed group increased from (9.60±2.05)kg to (10.21±2.12)kg，P＜0.01in the end of treatment.Among the laboratory iterms the serum total protein increased from (60.23±8.30)g/L to(65.94±4.86)g/L；urea nitrogen from (2.40±1.30)mmol/L to (3.35±0.85) mmol/L；peripheral blood lymphocytes from (0.63±0.34)×10⁹ to(0.79±0.32)×10⁹，P＜0.05～0.01.Conclusion: The results showed that rational breed (to take up Nutrioushed milk) for the infants with diarrhea diseases can improve recovery of clinical symptoms and provent malnutrition in them.
