Clinical analysis of 1925fever clinical patients

  • Objective:To investigate clinical features of fever clinical patients in the severe acute respiratory syndrome(SARS) prevalence days.Methods:The clinical data of 1925fever patients from 2003.4.21to 2003.6.24were analyzed retrospectively. Results:Male patients and youths aged from 20 to 40 were the majority of the fever clinical patients in the SARS prevalence days,and most patients’body temperature ranged from 37.3℃ to 38℃.The working residents of Beijing were more than the outlanders in the fever clinical patients,but heavy work labors account for a main proportion in the outlanders.Almost ten percent fever patients received medical observation,and nearly 45% of them were SARS diagnosed cases or suspected cases. Conclusion:Fever clinic had played an important role in finding and isolating SARS patients from the fever patients.Heavy work labors and medical and nursing staff were the high risk people for SARS.
