McAbs against human type Ⅳ collagen Preparation ane their application in IgA nephropathy
McAbs against type Ⅳ collagen were produced.On Western Blotting they bound to 120KD, 95KD,and 60KD of α1 chain fragments of collagen Ⅳ.Studies of renal biopsy specimen from 38 IgA nephropathy patients were made,using this McAb,to testify its characterization.Interestingly,it was found that its deposition within glomeruli corresponded to the distribution of collagen Ⅳ in general.
