Chronic urticaria seriously affects the quality of patient’s life, epidemiological data show that its psychiatric comorbidities have increased significantly, and neuro-endocrine-immune pathways have promoted the onset and exacerbation of chronic urticaria. In recent years, with the development of bio-psychological-social medical model, psychosomatic methods have gradually attracted the attention of dermatologists. In this paper, psychosomatic methods such as psychotherapy, psychotropic agents and Chinese traditional medicine are reviewed in order to provide new ideas for clinical treatment and prevention.
