Abstract: Remote surgery, as an innovative technological approach in the field of novel surgical medicine, has seen gradual adoption alongside advancements in communication technologies, robotic systems, and artificial intelligence. It serves as an effective supplement and optimization for long-distance medical rescue and frontline medical capabilities. Given the current state of technological development in remote surgery and its applications across various fields, this article reviews and prospects the research progress in this technology.
