Abstract:
Objective To report the therapeutic effect of early multiple primary cancers in an 87-year old patient.
Methods Diagnosis, treatment modalities and their therapeutic effect of early multiple primary cancers including renal cancer, prostate cancer and mucosa-related lymphoma in a patient admitted to our hospital were retrospectively analyzed. Relation of diagnosis time and treatment modalities with prognosis of the patient with early multiple primary cancers was studied.
Results The life quality of the patient was significantly improved and his disease-free survival time was prolonged after operation, radiotherapy, chemotherapy and CIK immunotherapy.
Conclusion Early diagnosis, early treatment and close follow-up are the best treatment modalities for early multiple primary cancers
