Abstract:
Objective To study the spatial structure, physical and chemical parameters, and biological nature of human astrovirus 1 (HAstV1) capsid protein by analyzing its sequences.
Methods The sequences of L23513-capsid protein were accessed from Genbank. Its secondary and tertiary structure, molecular weight, theoretical isoelectric point, amino acid composition, half-life, unstable factor, aliphatic factor, total average hydrophobicity, hydropathicity, flexibility, antigenic index and surface probability were analyzed with DNAstar and on-line internet databases.
Results The spatial confirmation of HAstV1 capsid protein was relatively regular, with stable physical and chemical parameters, and a high immunogenicity.
Conclusion The spatial structure, physical and chemical parameters, and biological nature of HAstV1 capsid protein, analyzed in this study, lay a foundation for the further study of its pathogenic mechanism and its prevention and detection.
