Abstract: The evaluation of the prognosis of gastric cancer of the gastric cancer metastatic lymph node ratio (rN) is significantly better than metastatic lymph node number (pN) in homogeneity and applicability, though the accuracy makes no difference, the gastric cancer metastatic lymph node ratio (rN) is conductive to correct N staging bias. However, the confusion of the two concepts, inconsistency of the classification standard has already seriously affected the clinical application. Thus, deep research of rN deserves more attention.
