Abstract: Benign paroxysm positional vertigo is the most common vestibular disease with its incidence increasing higher in clinic, accounting for 30 percent in patients with vertigo. The documents about BPPV systematic are reviewed, the history, pathologic basis, diagnostic method and categories are clarifed and different therapeutic methods and progresses of BPPV are described in this assay. According to the characteristic of military pilots BPPV, its aeromedical identifcation principles are summarized.
