Abstract:
Objective To investigate the expressions of progesterone receptor(PR) and leptin in placenta of hypertensive disorders complicating pregnancy(HDCP) patients.
Methods Eighty cases with cesarean section delivery in the First Affiliated Hospital of Jinzhou Medical University from January 2014 to June 2015 were enrolled in this study.Of the 80 cases, 20 cases were normal pregnancy with cesarean section served as control group and 60 cases had mild or severe preeclampsia. The expressions of PR and leptin in placentas were detected by immunohistochemical method, Q-PCR and Western blotting.
Results The expression of PR in placentas of HDCP patients was significantly lower(76.7%) than that in placentas of normal pregnancy(100%) (
P< 0.05).The expression of leptin showed an increase trend in placentas of HDCP patients, and it increased markedly in patients with severe preeclampsia(93.3%,
P< 0.05).
Conclusion HDCP patients show low expression of PR and high expression of leptin in placentas.
