Abstract: Maintenance hemodialysis (MHD) is one of the renal replacement therapies in patients with end stage renal disease. Though the quality of hemodialysis is enhancing, the mortality of MHD patients is still in a high level. In this review we will illustrate the related factors of mortality in MHD patients reported in recent years.
