Abstract: Though migraine is a common disease and its incidence and prevalence in female are higher than those in male, the gender differences in the basic research and clinical treatment are often ignored.In this paper, we review the epidemiology, animal experiments, neuroimaging and clinical research in gender differences of migraine to provide evidences for the future researches.
