Abstract:
Objective To evaluate the level of LDL-cholesterol(LDL-C) goal attainment and its influencing factors in patients after PCI.
Methods A total of 133 patients who underwent coronary artery stenting in the First People's Hospital of Jingzhou from December 2016 to November 2017 were included in our study. According to the review of LDL-C, the patients were divided into achievement group(n=46) and non-achievement group(n=87). There were 36 males and 10 females in the achievement group with average age of(61.74±7.09) years, and 62 males and 25 females were included in the non-achievement group with average age of(62.11±9.22) years. Logistic regression analysis was performed to find the influencing factors of LDL-C goal attainment.
Results Logistic regression analysis showed that sustained statins-taken history(
OR, 0.43,
P=0.005) and high treatment adherence(
OR, 0.42,
P=0.045) were the protective factors of LDL-C goal attainment, while overweight(
OR, 1.31,
P=0.040), more types of medication(
OR, 3.70,
P=0.001) were risk factors. Postoperative follow-up showed that Seattle Angia Questionnaire Scores in patients of achievement group were significantly higher than those of patients in non-achievement group(
P< 0.001, respectively).
Conclusion The study result suggests that sustained statins-taken history and high medication adherence are the protective factors of LDL-C goal attainment, while overweight and more types of medication are risk factors.
