Abstract:
Objective To study the nutritional risk and nutritional support of hospitalized cancer patients, and evaluate the rationality and practicability of nutritional support.
Methods One hundred and fifty cancer patients admitted to the 901 th hospital from January 1, 2018 to October 1, 2018 were selected as subjects. Nutritional Risk Screening-2002(NRS2002) was used to screen the nutritional risk, and the nutritional support to patients was recorded.
Results Of the 150 cases, 77(51.3%) patients had NRS2002 score ≥ 3, and were nutritionally at risk. Nutrition risk was identified in 62.3% upper gastrointestinal cancer patients, in 48.9% lower digestive tract tumor patients, and in 36.6% other cancer patients. Nutritional support was implemented in 52 patients with nutritional risk, with the nutritional support rate of 67.5%.
Conclusion The incidence of nutritional risk in cancer patients is high, especially in patients with digestive system cancer. Nutritional support has not drawn enough attention in clinical practice.
