表观遗传学调控骨骼细胞功能的研究进展

Research advances in epigenetic regulation on function of bone cells

  • 摘要: 骨骼是一个动态变化的器官,破骨细胞的骨吸收与成骨细胞的骨形成之间的平衡调控着骨骼的形成,其过程受到多种机制的调节,表观遗传学机制在其中发挥重要的作用。表观遗传学是指DNA序列不发生变化,而基因表达发生可遗传变化的机制。本文概述了表观遗传学的三个水平,即DNA甲基化、组蛋白修饰以及非编码RNA调控骨骼细胞功能的研究进展。

     

    Abstract: Bone is a remarkably dynamic organ,and bone remodeling is based on the balance between bone resorption by osteoclasts and bone formation by osteoblasts.The balance is regulated by many mechanisms,in which epigenetic mechanisms play an important role.Epigenetics refers to the mechanism by which the DNA sequence does not change but the gene expression can be inherited.This review summarizes three levels of epigenetics,namely DNA methylation,histone modification and non-coding RNA regulation of bone cell function.
