Bone mineral density analysis of calcaneus in soldiers with stress fracture

  • 摘要: 目的 探讨跟骨骨密度与应力性骨折之间的关系,为应力性骨折的预防提供依据。方法 选取2017年12月某部在集训期间发生应力性骨折的23例男性新兵作为观察对象,以该部19例参与相同训练的同年龄阶段、同性别的健康新兵作为对照。两组人员均由同一名技师使用超声骨密度仪测量跟骨骨密度。结果 两组新兵的年龄、身高、体质量等基线水平均无统计学差异。应力性骨折组跟骨密度Z值为(-0.383±0.903) g/cm2,正常对照组跟骨密度Z值为(0.247±0.897) g/cm2,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论 我们建议在条件允许的情况下对军事人员及运动员等进行跟骨骨密度检查,做到早筛查、早诊断、早治疗,以便对高风险人群进行健康指导。

     

    Abstract: Objective To explore the relationship between calcaneus bone density and stress fracture,and provide evidence for the prevention of stress fracture. Methods Twenty-three male recruits who suffered from stress fracture during the training in December 2017 were selected as the observation group,and another 19 healthy recruits with age and sex matched who had participated in the same training were selected as the control group.Their calcaneus bone density was measured by the same technician using ultrasonic bone densitometer. Results There was no significant difference in age,height and weight between the two groups.The Z score of calcaneus bone density in the observation group was (-0.383±0.903) g/cm2,and it was (0.247±0.897) g/cm2 in the control group,the difference was significant (P=0.030). Conclusion We suggest that calcaneus bone density of military cadets and athletes should be examined,so as to achieve early screening,diagnosis and treatment,and to provide health guidance for the high-risk population.
