Abstract:
Objective To explore the early intervention effect of sanyrene liquid dressing in preventing facial pressure injury in medical staff.
Methods The nurses who were on duty in fever clinics of a grade-A tertiary hospital from January to February in 2020 were randomly divided into two groups. The control group (n=17) wore protective masks and other items during duty according to the standard. The intervention group (n=16),applied sanyrene liquid dressing before and after wearing protective gear based on the standard protective measures, and the subjects in these two groups were evaluated at 4 day,9 days and 14 days after the intervention, and the observation indicators were compared between the two groups after intervention.
Results The incidence of pressure injury on the cheeks of the two groups increased over time. The incidence of moisturizing, redness, and pain in the facial skin of the intervention group significantly reduced compared with the control group, with statistically significant differences (all
P<0.05).
Conclusion Sanyrene liquid dressing has significant advantages in early intervention to prevent facial pressure injuries in medical staff, and it is recommended for medical staff for preventive use.
