转录因子SOX9在肾病中作用的研究进展

Research advances in transcription factor SOX9 and its role in kidney disease

  • 摘要: SOX9是SOX(SRY related high-mobility group box)家族重要的转录因子,其在胚胎形成、组织器官发育、分化中起重要作用,并广泛参与肾、前列腺、肺、肝、胰腺、皮肤、乳腺、卵巢等多种器官肿瘤的发生发展过程。SOX9能促进肾发育,促进急性肾损伤后肾小管损伤的修复,同时也能促进慢性肾疾病的进展,促进肿瘤发生和转移。本文回顾了近年内关于SOX9在相关肾病中的研究进展,旨在为肾病的临床治疗提供新思路、新方向。

     

    Abstract: SOX9 is an important transcription factor in SRY related high-mobility group box (SOX) family,which plays an important role in embryo formation,organ development and differentiation,and is widely involved in the tumor development and progression of kidney,prostate,lung,liver,pancreas,skin,breast,ovary and other organs.In kidney disease,SOX9 can promote kidney development,repair of renal tubular injury after acute kidney injury (AKI),the progress of chronic kidney disease (CKD),and also accelerate tumor development and metastasis.In this article,we review some timely and significant findings relating to the role of SOX9 in kidney disease,which may be helpful to find new ideas and directions for the clinical treatment of kidney diseases.
