Abstract:
Stem cells are one of the important seed cells for bone regeneration.In recent years,the bone regeneration strategy with stem cells as the core has become a research hotspot in orthopedics and stomatology,but the mechanism of stem cells involved in bone regeneration remains to be further clarified.Circular RNA is initially considered as "biological noise" without coding products.However,recent studies have found that circRNAs play an important regulatory role in organ development,disease occurrence and development,and tissue regeneration and repair.By summarizing the characteristics and biological functions of circRNAs,this paper reviews the research frontiers of the expression changes and regulatory mechanism of circRNAs in the process of stem cell osteogenesis,and clarifies the limitations of existing studies,so as to provide new ideas for further exploration of stem cell bone regeneration regulated by circRNAs.
