Abstract: Immune tolerance is the ultimate goal of research in organ transplantation,and it is the key to improve the prognosis and survival of transplant patients.Regulatory T cells （Tregs） are of great importance in the process of inducing immune tolerance.How to induce donor-specific Tregs is the key to the breakthrough of immune tolerance.Although it has been confirmed that CD8⁺ Tregs play a very important role in inducing immune tolerance in the past 20 years,its characteristics are still controversial.The purpose of this article is to review the research advances in immune tolerance induced by CD8⁺ Tregs in order to explore its potential of inducing immune tolerance in liver transplantation
