Abstract:
Objective To apply Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) training model in mass troop training and evaluate the training model.
Methods From May 2019 to October 2019,a total of 479 administrative staff, doctors, nurses, technicians and soldiers of a tertiary hospital were selected by the convenient sampling method. They were randomly divided into conventional training group and TCCC group. The conventional training group received the traditional training method of "theoretical combined skill group practice",while the TCCC group received the tactical combat casualty care training model on the basis of the conventional training group. It adopted the form of "combination of battlefield emergency technical training with comprehensive exercises",grouping, layering,Split training exercises. After the intervention, the subjects of the TCCC group were evaluated by the acceptance questionnaire to comprehensively evaluate the training effect.
Results A total of 479 participants were included in the study,of which 240 were in the conventional training group and 239 were in the TCCC group. After training, all the participants passed the evaluation, and the TCCC group had higher score in all the dimensions compared to the conventional training group:hemostatic bandaging and fixed technology (100±0.00
vs 97.85±2.53);emergency airway management technology (98.33±1.45
vs 96.63±3.20);technical fluid resuscitation (96.39±2.85
vs 93.07±2.81);insulation technology (98.65±1.10
vs 96.14±3.51);handling technology (99.04±1.27
vs 96.29±3.24);personal protection technology (98.58±1.55
vs 94.78±3.37);the CPR comprehensive training (97.45±2.44
vs 94.37±3.32);the CABCDE injury process (96.51±3.12
vs 93.86±3.56);comprehensive exercise (95.82±3.35
vs 92.17±2.46) (all
P<0.05).Totally 239 questionnaires about acceptance to TCCC training were delivered and 100% were returned; The overall score of satisfaction was 4.45±0.71 points, and the score of each item ranged 4 to 5.
Conclusion The application of Tactical Combat Casualty Care training model in mass troop can significantly improve students' first aid skills, enrich the learning process, and provide a strong basis for achieving the ideal goal of "everyone is a rescuer".
