Abstract:
Ptosis is a common eyelid dyskinesia disease, which seriously affects the appearance and even visual function of patients. The main treatment for ptosis is surgery. In the past 10 years, the conjoint fascial sheath (CFS) suspension has become a research hotspot in the field of ophthalmology at home and abroad. Now, based on the anatomical and histological basis of CFS research, the principle of CFS suspension to correct ptosis, surgical methods and indications, postoperative complications and other related researches are reviewed in this article.
