Abstract:
Coronary artery disease is the major threats to human health, among which sudden death is the most serious type, with the characteristic of sudden onset and low success rate of resuscitation. At present, there is no effective method to accurately predict sudden death. With the development of genetic research, the genetic background of sudden death due to coronary artery disease has been continuously revealed, and more and more genetic locus has been identified, making it possible to identify sudden death events. In this review, we summarize the genetic research progress of sudden death due to coronary artery disease in three aspects: gene polymorphism, related RNA and epigenetics, aiming to strengthen the understanding of sudden death due to coronary artery disease in the genetic level.
