Abstract:
In recent years, with the improvement of living standards, the prevalence of obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS) and metabolic syndrome (MetS) has been increasing. A number of studies have shown that the two diseases interact with each other, the link between OSAS and MetS has been increasingly appreciated by scholars. In this paper, we summarize national and international articles about OSAS and MetS in terms of concepts, epidemiology, clinical features, mechanisms of interaction, and treatment.
