Abstract:
Long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) plays an important role and has multiple functions in biological processes such as cell function, growth and development, and disease development. Lnc-RNAs are abundantly expressed in myocardial tissues and they participate in the control and regulation of a wide range of genes in cardiomyocytes. They can change the physiological functions of cardiomyocytes through targeting, and play a key role in the process of ischemic heart disease (IHD). It is expected to become a new target for the diagnosis and treatment of IHD in the future. This article reviews the research progress of lncRNA in IHD.
