Abstract:
With the development of digital technology, digital oral scanning is widely applied. In particular, the emergence of intraoral scanners can store or transmit the morphological information of soft and hard tissues in the patient's mouth through three-dimensional data. However, the accuracy of digital impression will directly affect the quality of clinical treatment. The overview of intraoral scanners, common scanner types, influencing factors of impression accuracy and methods to improve impression accuracy are discussed in this review, in order to provide reference for clinical selection.
