Abstract:
Objective To study the value of color Doppler blood flow imaging in diagnosis of intrauterine fetal hypoxia in women with pregnancy-induced hypertension(PIH) syndrome.
Methods Ratio of peak blood flow velocity, pulsation index(PI) and resistance index(RI) were detected by color Doppler blood flow imaging in systolic and diastolic(S/D) middle cerebral artery(MCA) and renal artery(RA) of 78 normal fetuses and 49 intrauterine hypoxia fetuses in women with PIH syndrome, and compared with those at the end of pregnancy.
Results The RI of MCA was lower while that of RA was higher in normal fetuses than in those with hypoxia(P<0.01).The S/D,PI,and RI of MCA were closely related to those of RA in fetuses with hypoxia(P<0.01).The percentage of outcome was significantly higher in perinatal fetuses than in normal fetuses(P<0.005).
Conclusion The RI of MCA and RA is negatively related in fetuses with hypoxia.Their detection is of great importance in predicting intrauterine fetal hypoxia.
