Abstract:
Objective To study the safety of right cardiac catheterization,pulmonary arteriography and acute vasoreactivity testing in patients with pulmonary hypertension and their intra-operative nursing.
Methods Thirty-nine patients with pulmonary hypertension(13 males,26 females) at the age of 8-76 years(38±29.2 years) who underwent acute vasoreactivity testing were nursed according to their age,sex and occupation to reduce their desperation,fear,pain,anxiety and dysphoria in order to ensure the success of acute vasoreactivity testing.
Results The acute vasoreactivity testing was a 100% success with no intra-operative complications occurred.
Conclusion Effective intra-operative nursing can shorten the operation time,decrease the intra-and post-operative complications and ensure the success of acute vasoreactivity testing.
