Abstract:
Objective To study the clinical diagnosis and treatment of rare cervical malignant tumors.
Methods Clinical data about 8 patients with cervical alveolar soft tissue sarcoma,cervical rhabdomyosarcoma,cervical small cell neuroendocrine carcinoma,primary cervical neuroectodermal tumor admitted to our hospital from January 2005 to June 2011 were retrospectively analyzed.
Results One patient with cervical small cell neuroendocrine carcinoma and 1 patient with primary cervical neuroectodermal tumor died.The surgical procedure for cervical small cell neuroendocrine carcinoma and primary cervical neuroectodermal tumor was almost similar to that for cervical squamous cell carcinoma.No consensus was reached on whether such patients should receive radiotherapy and chemotherapy.
Conclusion Cervical alveolar soft tissue sarcoma,cervical rhabdomyosarcoma,cervical small cell neuroendocrine carcinoma,primary cervical neuroectodermal tumor should be treated according to their clinical features or the reported treatment methods.
