Abstract: Laparoscopic hepatocystotomy were performed in 12 cases with congenital cyst of liver from June 1992 to January 1996. The result revealed that the method is more favourable than traditional cystotomy. It may be regarded as the first choice of treatment for large congenital cyst of liver or polycystic liver.
