Abstract:
2 cases of critical nosocomial pneumonia caused by flavobacterium meningosepticum(FM) are reported and both have been successfully cured of. It has been found that treatment of FM respiratory infections were much difficult because of its drug resistance to majority of antibiotics. The symptoms of FM pneumonia are similar to those of Klebsiella pneumoniae pneumonia. The antibiotics, such as Cefaperarone, Takesulin, Azactam and Ciprofloxacin are valuable drugs in saving the lives of patients with FM pneumonia.
