Abstract:
135 cases of colorectal cancer in the aged, including 60 cases of colon and 75 cases of rectal, were presented. There were 70 males and 65 females. 8 cases (5.9%) were misdiagnosed after admission and 2 cases (1.7%) before operation. The masses were resected in 84 cases, the resection rate was 62.2%. Among them adenocarcinoma is the most common according to pathological examination. Clinical and laboratory feature of the colorestal cancer in the aged were analysed and how to make early diagnosis was briefly discussed.
