Abstract:
Objective:To find out the relation between the severity of SARS symptoms and the variation of myocardial enzyme spectrum and it’s clinical significance.
Methods:myocardial enzyme spectrum were measured by the method IFCC recommended.
Results:In the initial course of SARS,The activity of each myocardial enzyme in each SARS were significantly higher than those of the normal group (
P<0.01);The activity of each myocardial enzyme in serum of death group were significantly higher than other groups (
P<0.01);The activity of myocardial enzyme in 93.6% of serum samples from death group rose abnormally ,and the rate of survival group is 33%.In the middle stage of SARS,the activity of myocardial enzyme in serum of SARS patients decreased,but the activity of HBDH in serum from death groups and intensive symptoms groups didn’t decrease.
Conclusion:Myocardium is one of the important tissue invaded and damaged by SARS virus.The abnormal rise of myocardial enzyme in SARS patients relate closely to the patient’s condition and prognosis.
