Abstract:
A technique enhancing the body-surface HBE detecting probability has been studied. Two methods were adopted. In one the anode plate was placed at the midsternal line in the 4th intercostal space and the cathode plate at the corresponding vertebra, and in another the comparison judgment of 3 body-surface HBES was used. This work, which has been done on 179 patients, proved that the detecting probability may reach 98.1% by combining the two methods, and that a clearer BH wave fluctuation can be obtained without any change in the position of the cathode plate but with the change of the anode plate which remains to be parallel or approximately parallel to the His bundle.
