Abstract:
Objective: To further define the clinical and biologic feature of T large granular lymphocytic leukemia (T LGLL), and elevate the level of diagnosis.
Methods: 3 cases T LGLL were analysed by cell/tissue morphology and cytochemistry and immunophenotyping.
Results: The characteristic finding is the presence of increased numbers of LGL in 3 cases. Cytochemistry: POX(-), PAS(+), ANAE: T-like(+), ACP(+), TRAP(-). Immunophenotyping: CD2(+),CD3(+),CD4(-),CD8(+),CD57(+),TCR
αβ (+).
Conclusion:T-LGLL is a special type of leukemia. Careful examination of the peripheral blood smear is mandatory for avoiding misdiagnosis and missing diagnosis. Immunophenotype showed important value.
