Abstract:
Objective To investigate the stress levels in nurses from local colleges and universities during their internship in military hospitals.
Methods Stress levels in 216 nurses from local colleges and universities during their 6-month internship in military hospitals were investigated with questionnaires.
Results The total stress was at a medium level. The stress induced by whether they would go or remain in military hospitals was at the highest level. Issues concerning their study and clinical nursing were also the factors that induced their stress.
Conclusion The stress during internship of nurses may affect their health and even their career. Administrators should give interns special concern and help them complete their study and clinical practice,thus taking on a job.
