Abstract:
The ACHE content in CSF of 17 patients with primary epilipsia and 15 patients with headache was studied compared with 12 no-neurological disease controls. The mean level of ACHE was 10.57±1.70 (mean±SE) in epileptic patients; 20.50±1.28 in headache patients and 24.70±0.77 in controls. There was significant difference between the patients with epilepsia or headache and controls. that ACHE content in CSF of patients was rather lower than of conttols. This suggest that the dysfunction of central ACH—ACHE system may play an importanf role in the pathogenesis of epilepsia and headache.
