Abstract:
Objective To observe the anxiety level of uterine cancer patients before laparoscopic radical surgery and their spouses in order to provide preoperative evidence for psychological guidance.
Methods Twenty patients with uterine cancer and 20 spouses were enrolled in this study.Their anxiety level was assayed according to the Zung self-rating anxiety scale before laparoscopic radical surgery.
Results The anxiety level was 46.31%±6.98% and 43.08%±9.05%,respectively,for the patients and their spouse(P<0.05),higher than the normal level(29.78%±10.07%).
Conclusion Anxiety is generally significant in uterine cancer patients and their spouses before laparoscopic radical surgery. It is thus necessary to provide psychological guidance for them.
