Observation of fibrin shell formation during peripheral insertion of central catheter and its management

摘要: 目的对PICC使用中纤维蛋白鞘形成进行观察与护理,以减少纤维蛋白鞘形成,保证导管使用安全、通畅。方法观察记录法。结果纤维蛋白鞘发生率为8.3%,给予处理后导管再通率为83.3%。结论临床护士应掌握PICC导管使用中纤维蛋白鞘形成的原因、处理方法及护理,以保证导管的质量和使用寿命,减轻患者的痛苦,提高生活质量,提升护理水平。

Abstract: Objective To observe and manage the formation of fibrin shell during peripheral insertion of central catheter（PICC） in order to reduce its smoothness. Methods Formation of fibrin shell during PICC was observed and recorded. Results The rate of fibrin shell formation was 8.3% and the reflow rate was 83.3% after management. Conclusion Nurses should understand the cause of fibrin shell formation and how to handle and manage it in order to improve the quality of catheter and its service time,and reduce the pain of patients,thus improving their life quality.
