Abstract:
Objective: To evaluate surgical treatment of degenerative lumbar spondylolisthesis.
Methods: 35 decompressive laminectomy, partial cases were received and appended internal fixation or interbody fusion with autogenous bone graft or with fusion cage inserted posterolaterally.
Results: All patients achieved radiographic fusion, and there were no complication in this series.
Conclusion: The orientation of lumbar facet joint has an important etiologic meaning in the occurrence of degenerative lumbar spondylolisthesis.Surgical treatment to degenerative lumbar spondylolisthesis with posterior lumbar interbody fusion using fusion cage is an ideal which enables to achieve sufficient posterior decompression, and reduce the deformity.
