Abstract:
Objective: To study the clinical significance of detecting glucose contents in the bronchial secretions.Methods: 27 post-traumatic coma patients feeding food with Tc
99-DTPA,was measured radioactivity counts and glucose contents to diagnosis aspiration;the two methods was compared.Results: Through correlation analysis,radioactivity counts and glucose content in the bronchial secretion had no correlation.Conclusion: That detecting glucose contents in the bronchial secretions for diagnosis of mistake aspiration maybe still a problem to solve.
