Abstract:
Objective: We apply 3D reconstruction technology to the building of a nasal cavity model adapted to real-time complicated interaction of virtual surgery.
Methods: ⑴The data of high-resolution body slices were segmented and their contours were picked up.⑵We apply the surface rendering technology to the reconstruction of the model on the basis of serial contours.⑶According to the need of real-time interaction, the model was optimized.
Results: The nasal cavity model with fewer polygons is of higher resolution and glossy. After being loaded in virtual surgery system, it can show the anatomy accuracy and facticity of real-time rendering during real-time interaction.
Conclusion: The reconstruction model based on the body slices is more applicable to complicated interaction of virtual surgery.
